Seconds out for Round 3. Who is ready to rumble?

The worlds of sport and crypto will collide once again as movers and shakers from boxing and bitcoin step into the ring for a showdown aiming for records and a slice of history.

The latest foray for Crypto Fight Night (CFN) — the global crossover boxing tournament endorsed by the World Boxing Council (WBC) — will be at Singapore Marina Bay Sands on Sept. 19, hot on the heels of the events this year in London and Dubai.

Following the huge popularity of crossover fight nights including the likes of Youtube influencers such as Jake and Logan Paul and their money-spinning (and ongoing) bouts against true legends of the ring like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mike Tyson, CFN is making its own mark.

The Singapore edition will feature a roster of fighters, including semi-pro boxers and MMA fighters, who will go toe-to-toe with celebrity boxers from the crypto world ready to make the switch from online to the ring.

The CFN Off-Chain Singapore showdown will be live-streamed to an anticipated 1.5 million viewers, with crypto influencers Ansem and BitBoy on hand to keep the audiences alongside other big names like web3 investor Nic Carter.

“After tasting success in Dubai and London, CFN’s entry into Singapore is part of our ongoing efforts to build a truly global crossover boxing brand," said Rahul Suri, co-founder & CEO of Crypto Fight Night said.

"As one of crypto’s most loved networking events, CFN Off-Chain Singapore will play host to some of the biggest names in the industry, with a heady mix of pro challengers and regional boxing talents adding to the adrenaline-charged environment.”

Suri also promises that this is still only the beginning.

"The next one year will see us take the CFN brand to major crypto conferences in MENA, APAC and the Americas, including in Las Vegas, as part of the brand’s evolution into a year-round league format,” he added.

Safety is always at the forefront of events such as this, where some entrants have not had the full upbringing of the sport. CFN Off-Chain Singapore will adhere to all protocols laid out by the WBC, including a stipulated training period for its challengers.

The main highlight of Off-Chain Singapore will be the battle for the CFN Crypto Belt, with yet-to-be-announced challenger squaring off against popular web3 influencer HedgedHog.

Also on the card, there is professional MMA fighter Keith Berry, known as NFT Kid, facing crypto influencer Chento, plus 10 other matchups featuring 16 fighters from the worlds of crypto and boxing.

More than 2,000 guests are expected in Singapore for the event, with online viewing figures expected to hit 1.5 million, ahead of big-ticket CFN bouts in the UAE, Hong Kong and the US in the coming months.
