Family ties just got stronger!

Anthony Agoshkov, the founder of Marvel Capital, has taken a bold step with his vision for connecting business leaders and thinkers with the launch of his Alchemy Family, a private members-only club exclusively designed for fund managers, HFT firms, hedge funds, and algorithmic traders. 

The club is aiming to redefine global networking for the financial services elite by curating deeply immersive experiences that foster both personal and professional growth.

Alchemy Family is a ‘member-by-application-only’ club, offering its select 165 members unparalleled access to founders, C-level executives, and capital allocators through meticulously curated events. 

Each year, the club hosts its flagship retreat, bringing together 50 of the industry’s most prominent leaders in an extraordinary setting. 

The inaugural retreat, Magnum Opus, will take place from Nov. 2-6 in the Seychelles, offering members the chance to connect on a profound level with peers in a serene, luxurious environment.

At an exclusive gathering in Dubai, we spoke with Anthony about what members can expect in the Seychelles and in the future.

So, Anthony, we are getting closer to the big event. Could you run us through the inspiration and the vision as to how we got here, what the event that's coming up entails, and where we're going to go from there?

Anthony: Well, the vision is very simple. We are creating a private members club that is interested in attracting people who are interested in personal growth and professional growth but on one platform. 

So, we're combining lifestyle and professional development in one. The whole concept of Alchemy is about becoming better every single day, both at a personal level and professionally. 

We are targeting a very specific kind of audience in our industry who are interested in personal growth. We want to change networking from what it is now usually at conferences, to make it more intimate, deeper, and more meaningful. We want members to generate more meaningful human interactions.

Alchemy is a club where we want everybody to give value to others. We want people actively involved in the life of the club through attending events and giving value, whether through consultancy or other means. 

Alchemy is like a lifestyle club, advocating for spirituality and wellness. We believe working on the mind allows us to realize anything around us. That's the philosophy of the club.

And what can we expect at the upcoming Magnum Opus event in November?

It's going to be an incredible event. The agenda is packed and intense. 

It's a four-and-a-half-day experience led by an amazing individual, Ferdinand Morellec, who is a Guinness World Record holder. 

He'll guide us through practices like ice baths, standing on nails, holotropic breathing, and walking on poles. Many people haven't experienced these things before.

There will be an amazing culinary experience provided by a team of chefs working on an alchemical menu specifically for this event.  

There will also be charity dinners with artwork auctions, where donations go to the charity of the highest bidder's choice. We'll have musical and visual performances at a luxury boutique hotel in the Seychelles, exclusively booked for our members. 

It's meant to be a very intimate experience, fostering life-changing friendships, collaborations, and partnerships.

And this is just the beginning, right? What about future events?

Yes, the big event like Magnum Opus will be an annual occurrence, starting this year in the Seychelles. 

Going forward, we have many formats designed to keep our members engaged, including online formats since our members are international. We'll also have side events around the world, just for our members plus one.

Anthony's extensive background in finance serves as the foundation for Alchemy Family’s vision. He began his career as a broker at ICAP and quickly advanced to senior trading roles at financial institutions. He co-founded IJSC Fianit, a fully licensed Trad-Fi brokerage in Moscow, successfully sold to a major institutional bank in Russia in 2018. Since then, Anthony has expanded his focus to multiple business ventures, emphasizing the emerging crypto asset class.
