Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, has been announced as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Bitcoin MENA event. The conference will take place from December 9-10, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Eric Trump’s participation is a notable addition to Bitcoin MENA 2024, bringing his business experience to the growing bitcoin sector in the Middle East. 

This follows Donald J. Trump’s appearance at Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville this July, highlighting the Trump family’s increasing support for Bitcoin as a tool to combat inflation in the U.S.

The Bitcoin Conference, recognized globally, will visit Abu Dhabi after successful editions in Nashville, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam earlier this year, with a Las Vegas edition planned for May 2025. 

According to the press release shared with The Byteline, Eric Trump’s involvement emphasizes the conference’s influence and Abu Dhabi’s rising role in the global Bitcoin economy. His insights are expected to align with the conference’s focus on Bitcoin’s impact on finance in the region, attracting attention from media and business leaders.

Other attendees at the Abu Dhabi event include Prince Filip of Serbia, Saifedean Ammous, author of The Bitcoin Standard, and Abdulla Al Dhaheri of the Blockchain Centre Abu Dhabi. This announcement reinforces Abu Dhabi’s status in digital finance.

With significant energy resources, financial reserves, and a forward-thinking approach, the UAE is positioned to lead the next phase of global Bitcoin adoption. 

The UAE’s recent zero VAT on Bitcoin gains is among several progressive measures to attract Bitcoin innovators, investors, and businesses. Bitcoin MENA will offer attendees opportunities to network with industry leaders and explore innovations from the Bitcoin ecosystem.
